Overview

Kabwe, 1.5 hours north of Lusaka on North Road, was formerly known as 'Broken Hill', and used to be an important mining site. Zambia Railways Headquarters are based in Kabwe. Today Kabwe is mostly known as an transit town to the copper belt.
