Overview

Coche Island borders everywhere with the Caribbean Sea. Politically, it is Villalba county, capital San Pedro de Coche. There are beautiful and tranquil beaches for the visitors and natives to enjoy. Its is a fisher village and Ferry dock, but San Pedro is more than a dock; it is a very colourful settlement with a fresh and very own personality. Along its coast you may watch the busy dock and men and women at their daily work, putting fish to dry at the sun. Beautiful "playa la punta" is the main attraction with its white sand and tranquile turquoise water, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy kitesurfing, the sport that is making the island more and more famous. "Playa el oasis and el coco" are alternative beaches also worth visiting.

To visit Coche Island and to mix with its people and landscapes is one of the nicest experiences you can make in this Island state
