Getting There & Away
Dodoma airport is not served by scheduled flights. Tanzania Railways Corporation run passenger trains from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma through Dodoma (see www.trctz.com ) . The travel from Dar es Salaam takes 14-15 hours. Buses on the hard-surfaced road from Dar es Salaam are much faster and much more dangerous.
