Schaffhausen

Overview

The visitor could easily mistake this town for Paris when strolling through the medieval streets in the summer. When they have realsied otherwise they might lie to visit Lake Constance,the Black Forest or the Rhine Falls, which are the the largest in Europe. Due it position between the lake and the forest there are many activities open to the visitor and the town provides a main base. A historical note is that this town did get bombed twice in WWII although the incidents were claimed to be accidents, coincidently or not the town is still an arms manufacturer!
