Overview
Nyköping is one of the oldest towns in Sweden. It was founded 1183 and was for some time in Swedish history the capitol for this nation. Today it is a typical Swedish mid-size city. About 35 000 people live in the town itself and 50 000 in the municipality. A walk through Nyköping is time well spent. It is a nice place with beautiful surroundings.
