Benidorme

Overview

Benidorm is famous for its huge sandy beaches which run from one end of the town to the other. These beautiful beaches are among the finest in Europe. Backed by mountains on one side and the glorious blue Mediterranean on the other the climate is perfect all year round. The disadvantage: Benidorm is one of the most visited places in Spain. If you do not want to meet many other tourists, stay away or at least come in the calmer winter. Many citizens of the UK, Germany and Scandinavia live here during the winter.
