When to Go

I've been to Romania for months at a time in the summer and have found it extremely hot. Dobruja (i.e. south eastern Romania) is the nicest area to be in the summer unless youre up in the Carpathians in the cool. Dobruja was originally a great wine producing region before Communism collapsed and the weather is proof. The coastal cities such as Mangalia and Constanta are great in the summer, particularly the former which has some fantastic beaches.
