Getting Around
You will need a car to get to restaurants/ bars/ surf shops/ beaches, as there are no sidewalks next to the steep, narrow roads that connect downtown with the surf breaks. It is possible to rent rooms in a hotel or a private house that is right on the beach, but at some point you will probably need to drive somewhere and there don't seem to be any local ground transportation services.
