Those staying on the island for more than a day visit must make arrangements with the mayor of Pitcairn for a place to sleep. Individuals and couples will typically be accommodated in residents' homes; groups may be housed at a government-owned cottage known as "The Lodge". You will need to secure a place to stay before a license to land will be issued.
