Ikom

Overview

Ikom is close to the Cross River National Park and probably the best base for exploring it. Regular bush taxis connect Ikom to Calabar .

Unique carved stones are found in the neighbourhood. The stones depict ancient monuments in reverence of the ancestors. The monoliths are currently being protected in their locations by the National Commission for Museum and Monuments.
