Ijebu Ode

Overview

Ijebu-Ode is a small city located in West Nigeria. It's population is estimated at 180000. It's industries include fruit canning, Bike and plastic making. It is home to a branch of the National Television station called NTA. Ijebu-ode is also home to an ultra-modern sport facility that includes a stadium with a 25000 capacity. It is home to the Yoruba people, who inhabit most of western Nigeria. Escavations are undergoing to uncover a wall that used to surround the city, when it was first established hundreds of years ago, when completed, the site should be one of the hot tourist spots in Western Africa.
