Calabar
Overview
Calabar is the wettest city of Nigeria. Located in the far South East of the country it is an important stop over on your way to Cameroon .
The town is small for Nigerian standards and pleasant enough. There is a good market, a nice museum and you can make a short excursion to Creek Town. The veiws over Calabar river are quite good as well.
If you want to see Gorilla's, the Cross River National Park supposedly houses a few. Take a bush taxi to Ikom and arrange the rest of the trip there.
