Overview

Mangochi district lies at the Southern tip of Lake Malawi. It is the main tourist destination of malawi. With many place to go and visit, like Cape Maclear in Monkey bay which has a long  beach of about 5km, and Boadzulu Holiday Resort makes Mangochi the best place to visit. Don't worry about accomodation in Mangochi because Mangochi has the best Hotels and Lodges where you can spend your nights. Club makokola, Nkopola Logde, Chembe Inn offers good accomodation.

Activities you can enjoy in most places in Mangochi are water sports, Fishing, Curio Shopping, Food and Wine, Hiking, Outdoor Adventure, Cultural Exploration and many more. People in Mangochi are also friendly. They offer tourists bicycles as a mode of transport at a low cost.

You will also listen to local artists from within Mangochi such as Raymond "wayu" chiwayula a.k.a Mangochi Boy, francis "Dangoman" Kadango and Wyson Matola.
