Overview
Located near the German border this town is the site of the Castle of Vianden the largest castle in the region.
Vianden is also known for the house of Victor Hugo which houses a small museum nowadays. There is also a folklore museum. The area around Vianden is very scenic. You can easily imagine how old Victor Hugo wandered around the woods.
Vianden is 40 km northeast of Luxembourg City.
