Overview
This park covers more than 250,000 acres over 4 counties (Grand Gedah, River Gee, Sinoe and Maryland county) and is the largest national park in Liberia. The area is home to many wild animals, insects, and wild flowers. Parts of this national park have never been surveyed or even entered by humans and can be considered one of the very last virgin forests in West Africa.
