Architectural attractions include the Kuwait Towers (a set of three water towers on the side of the gulf), the Liberation Tower and the National Assembly. All three are located in Kuwait City.
Camel racing takes place every Thursday throughout the winter at the Kuwait Camel Racing Club, half an hours drive from Kuwait City.
Shopping, going to the cinema and eating out are three of the most popular activities in Kuwait - the Marina Mall in Salmiya offers plenty of opportunity for all three.
