Naivasha

Overview

Naivasha is a moderately sized town about 100 km northwest of Nairobi, halfway between the capital and Nakuru. There are a variety of things to do around Naivasha, like visit Hell's Gate or Mt. Longonot National Parks, or spend time relaxing on the banks of the beautiful Lake Naivasha. A Tourist style restaurant "La Belle Inn" has a selection of dishes to suit a variety of tastes. The town has a variety of accomodation facilities from the moderate to the lavish. Naivasha Tourist Hotel has accomodation that is middle class in cost. On the Nakuru Nairobi highway there are the "Malu cottages" and The Great Rift Valley lodge with a golf course approx 10 km on the Naivasha Nakuru highway.
