Getting There & Away
By Air: Being an island country, Japan is usually entered via airplane. There are three main international airports in Japan. NRT, New Tokyo International airport, located in Chiba about one hour outside of Tokyo, KIX Kansai International Airport located in Osaka Bay, and newly opened NGO Nagoya International Airport in Ise Bay, South of Nagoya.
By Ferry: There is a ferry that connects Shimonoseki as well as one that connects Fukuoka to Busan, Korea.
