San Remo

Overview

Sanremo, climatic and touristic resort of international importance, is shaped like an amphitheatre between Cape Verde eastwards and Cape Nero westwards. Protected by hillocks, once covered with olives, cedars, lemons, oranges and almonds, today replaced to a large extent by greenhouses for floriculture and by modern residential complexes, it enjoys a wonderful climate. Inland we can find wooden high grounds, whose highest tops are Mount Bignone and Mount Negro.
