Kaietur Falls

Overview

With a sheer drop of 228 meter, Kaieteur Falls are 5 times higher than Niagara. The falls are located in the middle of a bit of unspoilt rainforest and this fact adds to the attractiveness of the place.

The region around the falls is a National Park and the best way of getting here is by joining an organized tour. A trip from Georgetown should cost about 150us dollars per person, everyting included.
