Alexandroúpolis

Overview

A place to stay can be a problem here, due to the local tourist trade, but that sould not put off the visitor. The fantastic Ethnoligical Museum of Thrace presents traditional life well without inappropriate Greek bias (many ethnic groups have lived in the area). In addition to the museum, the city's symbol, the lighthouse can also be visited but this is best done at night.
