Le Guilvinec

Overview

Coast should be attractive, busy or both. Brittany is generally esteemed for the beauty of its coast but Guilvinec, in the far south of Finistère, lacks conventional prettiness - at low tide it is almost messy. However, particularly in the late afternoon, it is extremely busy and this gives it an attractive magnetism far greater than a number of more conventional resorts. Excellent fish and seafood meals at not too exorbitant prices.
