Overview

Hattonchatel is named after the 9-th century bishop of Verdun who built a palace on a rocky promontory overlooking the Seine valley. Unfortunately cradinal Richelieu had the building destroyed in 1634. But lucky for us Belle Skinner an American lady fell in love with the villages and helped restore the place. What you find now is a charming villages with a few interesting sights.
