Getting Around
Bicycle Bicycle is the best way to explore Siwa and surroundings. Rental bikes cost 10 LE per day, and there is only one kind of them, Chinese model with only one transmission level. Note that driving through sand that covert most od Siwa`s back alleys can get rather dificult for unexperienced drivers. Donkey cart Donkey cart drivers are mostly very competent and skilled children. Prices are very negotiable, and start from 3 LE for a short hop to hotel to 30 LE for longer journeys.
