Overview

The town is situated at the end of a sheltered harbour, lined by restaurants, cafés and boats selling fruit where one can wile away the hours as the sun sets.

In the past the resort was reserved for the well-to-do where it was a fashionable destination, today it is the tourist centre for the island. The accommodation on offer is a high standard and ranges from luxury accommodation along the coast to one of the most idyllic campsites in Croatia.

There is a good range of activities on offer in the surrounding region. A few of which are mountain biking or hiking, along the criss-cross of trails, almost any water sport or use the excellent diving opportunities where you can learn to dive in the calm waters of Čikat bay or for the more experienced visit the wreck of the Tihany. The island of Lošinj is also the home to many birds including the rare Griffin vulture and the illusive dolphins which inhabit the sea.

All that is on offer provides the ideal setting to relax, participate or indulge your self in the unforgettable atmosphere in and around the town of Mali Lošinj.
