When to Go
China is a very large area of land and so the weather varies from place to place. Generally speaking however..
Winter: Can be very cold and the winds are icy.
Spring: Pleasant, a good time to go. Does not last long though...
Summer: Hot and humid mostly. Lots of tourists in the main attractions. Most popular season to visit.
Autumn: Not really applicable!
It's worth noting that not all places adhere to this pattern, e.g. Kunming is known as the city of 'eternal spring' for it's mild weather for most of the year.
