This is one of the cheaper options and not a bad option if you are on a budget. Shared dorm rooms are less than £2 a night and there is the option of private rooms.

With the shared dorm however, at the time of writing, the showers were out by the laundry room (very basic) and the toilets were out by a construction site (work was being done on one of the hotels next to the hostel). Not the most convenient and certainly the toilets were basic, but for the cheap price, it was to be expected!

 Usual hostel traits of friendly, helpful staff, internet access and a small TV area/chill out space by reception.

The location however is rather handy, just a short walk across the road to the Cuihu lake/park and also very close to the main roads leading to the train station and shopping areas. Also a short distance to the interesting backstreet areas.

Finding this place can be tricky - best advice is to get a taxi from the station. It is on the main road that goes around the park (Cui Hu road) and the hostel is just behind another hotel through a yard. There is a small IH sign (triangular Internation Hostel sign) on a gate which should be a good indication!
