Overview
Mindelo is the cultural capital of Cape Verde and is full of charming old buildings from the time it was an important coaling station in the 19th century. One of the wildest street parties you will ever be a part of is the Mindelo carnival and the people are so friendly and warm I suspect that they are made of honey and gold.
