Overview

Mochudi is a traditional village located about 35km north of Gaborone . It is famous for the Phuthadikobo Museum associated with the history of the ox wagon and metal working in the area.

The Museum is built on a hilltop, monkeys, which are plentiful in the area, provide interesting company during the climb. The museum boasts a range of interesting artifacts, such as weapons and musical instruments, and its location commands a magnificent scenic view of the surrounding area and the beautiful valley below.
