Overview

Sports and culture are probably the things a visitor will want to encounter in Hassalt. Although the latter is dependent on schenduling. Despite bieng in an industrial area, the town is not too oppressive, but it does lack older buildings. Very near the town is a faux village, depicting tradional life.

A pudding drink is named after the town, Hasseltse koffie. This is coffee with a shot of Belgian jenever.
