Overview
Tigzirt is located on the coast of Algeria, close to Tizi Ouzou. It used to be quite a nice getaway for people in the Kabyle region. The main tourist attraction except for the stony beach, is the Christian basilica in the middle of the town. It dates back to the 5th or the 6th century.
